fintech, Product Development, and Community in Montreal, Québec, Canada

I’ve worked in software development, product management, product design, knowledge engineering and community building for over 20 years. I have led projects and teams in a variety of settings from startups to Fortune 100 companies, and my diverse background includes immersive learning, infosec, fintech, online communities, VR/AR, artificial life, big data analytics, natural language processing and content analytics.

With my background in neuroscience and medical informatics, I developed immersive medical education products and online patient support communities at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. I co-founded L0pht Heavy Industries (the first computer security hackerspace), I’m a member of Cult of the Dead Cow (the oldest white-hat hacker group), and I’ve led product management and design for enterprise software platforms at OpenText in the area of enterprise information management.

I’m currently an independent consultant and contractor leading product management and community growth at Oneiro Inc., developing a new buoyant digital currency designed and optimized for the long-term store of value. I also volunteer as a product marketing and community development expert with Ravencoin, an Open Source community-organized project building an issuance platform for traditional securities and assets to become tokenized using blockchain technology.

I am an American citizen currently living with Permanent Residency status in Montréal, Québec, Canada.

My hobbies include being a friend to animals, flying drones, and fixing old clocks.
